Simply put, skiing is what life is all about.  Nothing compares to the feeling of ripping turns at high speed in bounds or out of bounds, on corduroy or in 3 feet of powder.  The photos here are a combination of my slides and some of myself mainly from the four years we lived in Salt Lake City.

Those four years provided me with almost 300 days of skiing, mostly in and around the backcountry of Brighton, Utah.  That is why my wife and I moved to Utah from New Jersey in 1995 - to ski the best snow and terrain on earth.  I learned a lot that first year, skiing 4-5 days a week while working part-time at the Brighton Rental Shop.  Unfortunately, as fate would have it, my love of photography and the desire to pursue it as more than just a fun hobby  "blossomed" near the end of our residence in Utah.  Therefore, my skiing portfolio is thin...
